Not far from me, off the coast of Great Yarmouth. The ship sank 340 years ago. Should help tourism in the town. Trying to get the link up.

It was on the news here. Amazing find, love the ship's bell.
There are many shipwrecks still to be located, but to find a royal ship is special.

They look as if they go to the gym a lot too, wouldn’t want to upset them:)

It appears it took them all that time to verify and positively identify the wreck. Not sure at what stage did they find the bell. But I agree it does seem like a very long time to make the news public. Anyway it’s very cool discovery and interesting news to read.

"It was found in 2007 by Norfolk divers Julian and Lincoln Barnwell, with their friend James Little, after a four-year search covering 5,000 nautical miles."

"The long process of identifying it by its cannon as well as issues around site security mean the discovery is only now being made public."
