This is a writing desk that my parents owned. They inherited a lot of old things but I think they might have bought this or received it as a gift. They had it since the late 60's at least. Has anyone seen one of these before? Any information on its age and origin and value? Thanks in advance! IMG_2483.jpeg IMG_2484.jpeg IMG_2485.jpeg

I would call it "sort of Eastlake" style. Late 1800s.

Thanks! I inherited several victorian pieces and this one was in such great shape I kind of assumed it was younger or even modern.

Neat! Has a moorish air to it. Hang some tassels from it and you can call it "the Bugatti".
