    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    HAHA!!!!!! Even if he were younger, I don't think you'd ever get DH out in one again...he was out by himself in a BIG, deep pond behind my parent's house, got a little too aggressive, flipped it, and was darn glad it didn't bonk him on the head!!!! He lost half a pair of new Topsiders in the bargain!!!! Nope.....not interested...last time he set foot in it!!!!..& I don't swim!!!!!:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

    Wooden canoes are a PITA - that's why now they are aluminum or fiberglass. If it was a vintage ChristCraft or a Lyman wood boat yes the trouble would be worth it. Plus wooden canoes are pretty heavy compared to alum or fiberglass that one person can move them around.
