Guessing, here .... I think some of these may depict Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales as TOG had suggested ... I see the chimney sweep and shepherdess, possibly the red shoes, there's one about a melting snowman, and the aforementioned tin soldier .... had the king not been wearing such a grand cloak, I'd say it was the emperors' new clothes. The little man could be Tom Thumb ... but I think that's by the Brothers Grimm ....

Seems Hans wrote a tale about storks and maybe the little boy is actually Thumbelina ... is that a dress?

I did the best I could with close ups. Will take a group shot and try to get some descriptions in the mix. Gonna tale notes with this glass ware and hopefully list it in the few days

All the searches I do end up showing your photos from this thread.

You've become the Internet's best source on these glasses without having a clue as to what they are.

I've been looking some more, too, and I haven't found these anywhere.

I keep going back to my original mention of Holmegaard, but if these were Holmegaard, you'd think someone else would have them, too! Holmegaard did, however, make what seems to be a very similar style of glass (pattern called Amager):

Hmmm. Well, all I can say right now is that Scandinavian is going to be my last guess tonight!

Someone better ID them before people get the idea that the internet doesn't have all the answers. Then the sky will surely fall.

QuirkyGirl. You have the right idea. But it doesn't mean it has to be Hans C. A, as the only author. Mixed ones are OK. After all, the Lord's tailor isn't a fairy tale.

SBSVC. With the theme we seem to be catching it's very possible that those were made by Holmegaard and someone else added the theme pics.

Moreotherstuff, one way or the other, the internet does have everything. Especially with the hidden camera lenses. It's just best we can't find it all.
Funny though, that it's giving you a big loop. And I mean funny as in :D

I bet these were some kind of annual giveaway.

The "waterfowl" looks more like stork or crane with "chicks."

Like the so collectible Hess trucks. :yuck:

Herons and storks nest in trees or high up, not on the ground. Cranes and flamingos nest on the ground, but those pinky :shifty: ones usually just dig holes. Cranes use lots of straw and similar.
    Doesn't mean that's not a heron in a tree.
