    It’s like plaster with tiny see through glass beads set into it. I don’t think I can work quickly enough for it to be mended with a plaster based substance. I’ll have to venture over to the restore vintage jewellery group on FB and remember to mind my Ps and Qs and stay on topic.

    You can sometimes pick up odd paperweight cane slices on Ebay - or if you're as clever as you are, maybe slice a bead?
