Featured Your thoughts on what looks like Old design blocks for printing on fabric

    These two blocks seem like they would be too heavy and too odd shaped to produce good product

    It is a 'cap batik' a batik stamp, from Java, Indonesia. Used to stamp wax on textile before it is dyed, or during the dyeing process. After the textile is completely coloured, it is put in hot water to get rid of the wax.

    I forgot, the winged motif is Garuda, the eagle from Hindu mythology. Very popular in Indonesia, and regarded as very powerful.
    The Indonesian national airline is called Garuda.
