Would you be buying because you like them and wish to keep them? As an investment that you hope will increase in value in years to come? Or to quickly sell for a profit?

What are your thoughts about this artist?

short research: Albert Zamarra, born 1898. so most of his output will not be antique.
on catawiki a few with 60 to 80€. subjects hint to a bread and butter painter that is not collected outside Belgium.

It is always best to look for prices on multiple sites. It is good that you asked here, there are some very good (re)searchers here, and more opinions to help you make your decision.

One thing I like to consider is whether I can find any information on the artist that is NOT on an auction site. If I can't find information except on auction sites, that concerns me.

Auction sites sometimes have incorrect information and then one site copies from another and then another and suddenly this information is written as if it's true, but there is no verification/documentation/proof.

It's a consideration -- not the final word on buy/don't buy, but a consideration.

true. but the quality of his works gives them away as potboilers of no artistic importance. so better no risk than having a dust collector hanging around.
