Okay I figured it out model 1883, Estimated year of production is 1903. I am so happy and I’ll be holding on to this find for sure !

By the way .. it does work and keep time perfectly, how much do you think it will cost me to get a second hand put in? Canadian dollars please

A good watchmaker will insist on tearing that thing to pieces, cleaning it thoroughly, oiling it, regulating it, and then restoring it (including putting in a new second-hand).

And if he doesn't, then he isn't a watchmaker worth visiting.

My guy down here in Australia charges $350.00 for all that and it's first-class work. So in Canadian dollars...$300? $250.00? Maybe?

    A few observations...

The plating is quite worn. With good polishing, you could probably hide that. It's a 17-jewel movement, so it's on the higher-end of mid-range. It has a microregulator, so it's definitely expected to keep better-than-average time.
