I think it would help to know what those initials after their names mean. Does it mean that Graffart was the designer and Gillet did the cutting. And what is the other name above the other 2 names? Did you ask Kronos what that vase in the link brought? I ask because that one has a chip too. So it might be a good comparison. The WP one is about the same size and the cutting is exquisite. It likely won't matter much if you don't name the blank. It's still VSL. On the WP vase Barthelemy is in the same position as Gillet on your vase so it's conceivable that those two people were the craftsmen.

If it were me, I would list it for whatever the WP example sold for. Then see what happens, your photos are way better than the WP listing.

I found this about J. Gillet:

The phrase "J. Gillet - Val St. Lambert" links an early historical figure or affiliate named J. Gillet with the famous Belgian crystal and glass manufacturer, Val Saint Lambert, which has produced luxury glassware in Seraing, Belgium, since 1826. [1, 2, 3]
Kronos gave me a sold price of $262. In 2020.

Wow! $262, does that work for you, would you make a good profit? Although that was in 2020 so it might be worth more now. IDK. maybe $275-ish. Hope it works out well.

I paid under $100, so that would be nice. I can always lower it. I'll try an auction.

There's one just like yours on eBay now with no chips and a sticker for $250. I searched "Val St Lambert Charles Graffart Birds Vase". Same signatures as well. That sounds like it might affect your price, but you should still do well.

I got curious about this one and did some digging.

The inscription on the base appears consistent with Lindshammar, Sweden, and possibly Gunnar Ander. Lindshammar was founded in Sweden in 1905, and Gunnar Ander became the glassworks' first designer around 1949 and continued designing for Lindshammar until 1976.

A useful reference for Lindshammar history, labels and examples is the 20th Century Glass identification guide:

    https://www.20thcenturyglass.com/glass_encyclopedia/scandinavian_glass/lindshammar_glass/

I also checked actual auction results rather than relying only on asking prices. Auctionet has documented signed Gunnar Ander/Lindshammar glass, including this signed example that sold for $27:

    https://auctionet.com/en/1233364-gunnar-ander-vase-glass-lindshammar-signed

And another signed Lindshammar/Gunnar Ander vase sold for $63 in March 2025:

    https://auctionet.com/4133197-gunnar-ander-vas-glas-lindshammar-signerad

Those aren't identical to this etched-bird vase, so I wouldn't treat either result as a direct valuation. They are useful for seeing the general auction market for signed Lindshammar/Gunnar Ander pieces.

Since we're not supposed to give valuations here, I'll phrase my thought this way: based on the comparable market evidence I found, I personally would not let it go for yard-sale money. At the same time, I wouldn't use the very high asking prices attached to some of Ander's more desirable sculptural designs as direct comparisons for this piece.

I'd also want someone more familiar with Lindshammar signatures to confirm the entire inscription/model number on the base before representing it definitively as a Gunnar Ander design.

Very cool little piece. The etched birds are what sent me down the rabbit hole in the first place.

Thank you for all the information. I am a bit confused though. I'm pretty certain it's Val St. Lambert. I will try to add a clearer shot of the signatures.
