Featured silver guam souvenir ? spoon age

hi folks

something else i found the other day in a box of various cutlery pieces

didnt know if it was silver, but just looked interesting (not marked)

tests as a dark red which my solution guide says is 925

was wondering how old it might be, cant find any like it online for reference

take it that its a souvenir spoon ? (5 inches)

any thoughts appreciated

Don't know why it wouldn't be what it looks to be. Lots of souvenir Guam spoons around, silver and not. This one has a similar handle.

Older font style. I'd suspect early 20th.

 

That is an older font style. I'd think not new too. Before the days of mass tourism.

This is the seal of Guam that was approved in 1946. I would certainly think your spoon pre-dates it.

The design is actually closer to the Governor's Seal. I might ask the Guam Museum. They can be contacted via their web site.
