Featured Interesting silver picture frame

Can someone date this picture frame that I've recently picked up on flea market.
First I thought it wasn't silver but found hallmarks.

So the back is fabric covered cardboard?

Silver mark is odd with nothing identifying country of origin.

Maybe now that I've seen it twice I'll remember the third time!

 

Just as a note, there is another modern California based maker producing similar frames, Renaissance Collection, their pieces marked with a sans-serif 'RC' and '925'. An owner of that firm has said that though they are marked as sterling, they are actually fine silver - that statement, as well as the overall appearance and feel of the frames, makes me believe they are electroformed, with designs like this modeled from antique pieces...

Agreed, think I'll just stick with old furniture, easier all round!

 

I'll stick with tribal art , guns and blades.....ect....
as your furniture looks like it takes a lifetime to get good at !!
