Not shark tooth, it is not flat but triangular in section and very pointy, still a mystery...

my best guess would be Mako shark..

 

The shape, with that curve, looks like a talon, but the colour is like a tooth or fang.
Dracula maybe?

I have got to run out right now, but will see if I can locate her information. From what I understood she use to have a group of compact collectors that she was a part of & I do not know if she approached the IPBA or vice versa but it does make sense since a lot of perfume bottle collectors do expand into other vanity type pieces.

Also, the photo of the dog above, I don't know if that is your puppy or a photo you snagged from the web, but it is absolutely hysterical!!! I laughed till I cried on that one.

 

I have a bangle like that around somewhere, but it's hiding at the moment. I'd check that little spider with the pearl body over well too, just in case.

This one is my first with the expandable system, fits perfect and very comfy
The spider is a true costume piece, soft gilded metal, rhinestone and faux pearl, it joined the critters in the orchid pot
