Featured Antique Waltham Hunter Pocketwatch. 15j. 1919.

My watch has arrived on my friend's workbench, and he just finished tearing it apart! He sent me this photograph of all the pieces ready to go in for ultrasonic cleaning...

 

it's all in the thumb.....so when u pop it open with one hand , you're looking at the correct orientation .....

I guess, but I like the more "modern" 12 o'clock orientation, so finding a good-quality antique watch in this configuration is a dream for me I don't think I'll ever sell this...unless I land something even better, that is...

 

Well! It took exactly 20 days, but my watch is finished!

I got a text-message yesterday from my friend that he'd finished cleaning, lubricating and calibrating my watch, and that it was ready to collect.

I'm going to meet him tomorrow morning to pick it up. Photos coming soon!
