I agree. Kyra is not like that, she is a sweet person.
Reading posts on a forum without actually seeing the person can be difficult.
When someone disagrees about the value of an item it has to do with today's market, which can differ from place to place. That doesn't mean they are putting the item down.

There must be something on the back, or about the way the back is made, that made him change his mind. Could you post a photo of the back?

 

@barrie I totally agree with Ownedbybear, the auction man saw your piece in person... He valued it after seeing the mark... a call to him should clarify the mystery

 

That price would be crazy optimistic anywhere in the U.S. that I know of, even New York.
