Ok then I got it backwards, thank you for the correction, @Marie Forjan

ON SIDE QUESTION: Does anyone know what the goofus glass is painted with? THAT IS NOT THIS, but I won't remember to ask later and it's not a thread worthy question.. thx

There is a problem with your registration, most likely. I will ask @daveydempsey the moderator if he knows why.

You are possibly trying to post to forum that only moderators can access/post to. Try opening up the pottery forum and start a new thread there.

    Hi Antidiem,
Goofus glass was painted with enamel paint which chips off and wears off from washing. It was painted then gold painting on the back.

Regardless of what Goofus glass was painted with it was never fired on, which would bond the color to the glass.

Brad, can't be much help, but it does look like a fancy compote - or just a pretty set about. Don't believe I've ever seen one like it. Could it be Italian?

Owner of our store thought Italian. I am leaning more toward Czech. Was hoping someone here would easily identify it but that is OK. Thought I would post as a learning piece.

Marcus, voitko aloittaa uuden säikeen? Käytä nimikkeessäsi Wedgewoodia ja ocneyi-väriä.

I love the fact that you can read Finnish as Elvish.
