    Leah,

Is that the Blue Acanthus that was posted on Facebook? (Art Glass Collectors Group)

If so, post it. It is a really nice piece.

    Hi Leah,
Wow, absolutely stunning! Thanks for sharing!
That is good information that the Kralik Glass catalogue is available through the West Virginia Museum of American Glass - I'll have to check out cherryhill's listings.

Hey D-Fun! Indeed it is. Good eye! Gary sent the Acanthus to me last week, as a thank you gift for finding a pair of super duper rare Victorian Loetz "Octopus" vases. :)

Thanks, CXgirly-girl for posting the WVMOAG link! :)

Thank you, SKCCOAST for the flattering compliment. Much appreciated. I have to tell you Kralik shells do not surface often. Better luck next time!! :)

Those Octopus Vases are incredible. I don't know that I would be able to split up the pair. Actually, I know I wouldnt LOL

They are fantastic. Glad you found them, Rennee. It's nice when collector's of the same interest can share, and with the Octopus vases, it was a very expensive purchase. That's why I asked Gary and it ended up over my head. Luckily, Gary found someone else split the bid. So, it's a win-win for both and a proud piece to own. There's nothing out there in Gary's example to compare so far and will be added soon to Loetz.com and Dave Littlefield's site as well. https://sites.google.com/site/loetzglass/

I have just inherited, I believe, a Kralik Shell (Cornucopia) Iridescent Green vase. Trying to find information and value for insurance purposes. Tried to upload a picture, but file size is too large. Ok resized and added it to the post. spiralgreenvase.jpg
