bowl - a 1956 gift - any ideas?

    information about this item 027.JPG information about this item 028.JPG information about this item 029.JPG I was given a pair of these pretty little bowls in 1956 as a gift. They are about 4 1/2" across. I've always wondered about them, see no marks. Now I can only locate one of them which makes me wonder if I didn't give one to a daughter. Could they be Italian? If someone can tell me anything, it would be appreciated.

    Beverly. Look closely at the bottom and see if you can see any markings on it.
    I have seen these before, but can't remember who made them.
