So did my GG Grandfather! My G Grandfather was the youngest of 19 children including several sets of twins. Can you imagine being pregnant all that time?
His family were carpetbaggers. Right after the Civil War, they moved most of the family from Scranton to Winchester, VA. They loved the rich farm land and bought up a number of farms - one for each child.
