    Herman is 18 and still going strong. He is getting a new injection monthly for arthritis. It has him playing like a kitten at times. The flip side of this is that he is more demanding of attention and more vocal about it. Vet says he is the best 18 year old cat she has seen in ages.

    Our last two cats made it to 18 and 20-they can do it (just like granny)-especially if they're kidneys stay strong.
    Folks who've never tried cats IMHO- should give 'em a try. They're as loving as any dog we've ever had.
