CAN ANYONE ID MAKER OF BIG OLD ACOUSTIC GUITAR?

I found this big old girl at the local thrift store today. I pondered it for awhile because the only markings are a letter K inside a circle, inside a triangle on the head.
It's old & has been played a lot; that plus the really large size + the pearl? in the neck made me take a chance on it (even though it was only $24.95).
Does anyone know what guitar maker uses the letter K in a circle for their logo?
And I know it looks like a classical guitar from the photo of the body but standing in front of it looking down it looks like a BIG acoustic.
    Thanks for any help!

Yep it's a Kay guitar big during the 60's, entry level guitar. Looks to be in decent shape!

Thank you - going to look them up now!
    Is it a regular acoustic? The thing is huge to be a classical (42"T x 17"W x 4.5" D)!

It's a big body known as a jumbo body generally big with country/western style music

As said, not a classical guitar, but an entry-level steel-string; looks like it needs new tuners.

    Thanks!
PS - glad it's a regular guitar; hopefully easier to sell

Yes it needs tuning pegs and some clean up. There are people who love collecting these old guitars.

24.95 I think that was a great deal, with a bit of clean up you'll certainly make a few bucks!
