Hmmm, I don't agree with the ages given for OP piece. It looks 20th century to me. Early 20th century at the earliest. My guess is more in line with AJ, mid 20th century.

See the second plaque, not 19th century quality to me. And ormolu doesn't looks 19th century either. But the main problem is that the pics given here are not adequate to really tell when this was made. When dealing with furniture we need to see the interior - hidden - parts. If you show back and underneath, or pull out a drawer and show the sides, bottom, back and front from the inside we would be able to tell much better when it was made.

 

The OP stated that its more than 100 years old.

 

Unfortunately family history often gets it wrong. OP is 26, so his grandma born about 1935. Most people buy furniture when they get married and have kids, sometimes later, never before. So that would be about 1965. Which is my guess about when this was made; unless we see pics to prove otherwise.

Family history can be useful, but you need to start with the piece in question first.
