    In the tray of jewelry that KSW posted, I see two pieces of "real" saphiret jewelry. Both pieces appear to have older saphiret stones with more gold content than newer saphirets, which gives them a light muddy-pinkish glow. I have a Victorian or Edwardian dress embellishment with similar saphiret stones (shown below).

    I saw the same two. I'd love to get a look a the pieces sitting upside-down! Those look old whatever they are. (still not seeing $800, but sapphiret glass makes some people nutsy.)
