Cross posted with my question. Thank you, I’ll look into that.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Okay, good! By "repository" I meant a historical society, a museum, an archive, or even a library that has an archive. Usually located somewhere close to where the people lived or where the photos were taken. Since you mentioned having an investment in this, though, you might not want to donate. And most of these kinds of places won't want to buy unless there is a strong local significance or some other compelling factor that would make them want the album for their collection. I have found in the past that some won't even take donations of items unless they really fit their collection. I used to send individual photos to historical societies until a time when I sent a few to one place and they returned all but one to me! They said they already had enough photos by the photographers of the ones they returned. And the people in the photos were not identified. So now I always inquire first before sending.

Thank you, Figtree. Yes I understood it would be a donation. I would defiantly call and see their interest before sending, if I decide to do that. Thank you for all the help. I’m going to try to make a decision soon. But have pretty much decided it’s enough investigation on family members.
    Thanks again!

Hi HT, I'ts just gorgeous. What a shame the world seems to have lost the ability to produce such lovely things. Are all the images American?

Thank you, AuDragon. The cards photos all seem to be from the US, mostly Illinois.
