    As the others said, the mark is a maker's mark, not a hallmark.
    It reminds me of German maker's marks, but that doesn't mean it is definitely German.
    It isn't a Chinese style mark, not even like the ones that use Latin script.

    The style is Chinoiserie, Western made but copying, or inspired by, Chinese art.
