That idk maybe on there lap or over there arm. But I seen plenty different shapes triangle circle common square

 

I have this tray. Not sure which animal or rank?

 

I remember hearing that the officer wore one facing one way and his spouse wore it facing his. Is that something you could confirm? Thank you!

 

Maybe the bird is some kind of heron? Most cranes don't have the crest on their heads. But I don't know. I just noticed nobody had replied to your questions.
