    Pardon the dumb question, but... is that an actual brand, or a general allusion to the hippies? I haven't heard that phrase before.

    A general allusion used here in Europe. We had two Hippie Trails, one through Western Asia with one branch to Central Asia and one to India, the other Hippie Trail was to Morocco, sometimes going on to other Maghreb countries.
    People generally brought back drugs, clothing (Afghan dresses and coats) and jewellery to be sold.

    I've got that album upstairs in a box along with other 60's thru 80's stuff! I should dig them out. but I'll have to figure out how to hook the turntable up to the rest of the audio equipment. ;)

    I doubt that, Blooey. I don't have any music files on my computer, and no iphone to access iTunes. But we do have a great vintage vinyl and CD store locally that it very trustworthy about selling only undamaged goods.

    I download stuff, burn it to that ancient old-timey technology (CD's) then play it in my 25 year old car's CD stacker player. ..... BTW no Apple products or software shall darken my door. :android:

    Oh I have a large Vinyl collection too!
