I’m getting Chinese vibe from the shape and some of the decoration but not sure of the origin. Could be Bohemian?
    Any thoughts?

I don't believe this is cameo glass. Looks like porcelain to me.

That's really something! I'd have picked it up as well ...beautiful.

I don't think it's oriental though, probably is Bohemian as you suggest. Nice piece.

Not actually Cameo Glass....I am guessing indigo cobalt blue glass painted. This IS Cameo glass[IMG]

I think blue glass with white layer and cut. Painted as well.

To me it looks like cased glass, opaque white over blue, with the pattern cut through to the blue and lots of added gilt decoration.

If that base isnt porcelain Im a monkeys uncle. I think its glass AND porcelain . Pity its been poorly repaired, renders it almost worthless. I hope you didnt spend a lot on it.

    WOW! Gorgeous, @kardinalisimo

    It's a version of this:
Cased "cut to" Cobalt "Czech/bohemian" possibly made for Persian market.

@cxgirl helped me out with a piece I have... You might want to check out that thread...

Judging by the very high quality of the workmanship, I'd say this is probably a piece of Moser glass.

I know lots of repairs but worthless? I can try to remove the lid if not glued and sell it as a vase:)

Remove the lid and sell as a baluster vase! Very sellable, absolutely.

Luckily it was never drilled for a lamp :)

The gold tracery is reminiscent of Harrach.

Opps! It's drilled on the side :(

But at least you know the condition of the bottom, which looks good. Hope the top edge is good. :)

Body all good besides the drilled hole. Lid badly broken and glued back
I’m really debating on selling as is or without the lid. Have not tested yet if it will light up.
