    Here is a pot that is quite similar to yours, although the rim treatment is a little simpler. The character of the clay body looks similar to yours, as well as the dimensions. It is from Thailand, 17th-19th century, round bottomed, decorated with stamped designs that are faded/worn.

    Thank you so much for this photo. It is very interesting because of the lip on the opening from what I can see if very similar. I wish I could see inside the pot. I now have a point to start my research.
