Featured Gurgle Fish Pitcher

    The eBay pitcher, as measured by seller, is 10" tall; the Worthpoint one is represented as 9", like OP.

    Strictly a guess that some go glug glug when pouring & others do not, perhaps based on how wide or narrow the mouth opening is.

    Maybe some use mouthwash? LOL just a bit of humor.
    I like the fish whether it makes noise or not.

    They're properly Glugs, rather than gurgles. That's the noise they make.

    Say-it-slowly, I think the markings on the bottom of mine are likely the same as in your link. The first 3 may be letters, and I wonder if they're "OLF" for Olfaire.

    The reason they Glug is because of trapped air in the hollow handle when filled.
    When you pour the liquid out the air makes a glugging sound.

    I've washed mine, but its Glugless :hilarious:

    This discussion got me interested in these. I looked through a lot of them on eBay, and liked the color and glaze on this one quite well. And I bought it! Yes, it's new. Or newish. One way to tell is the statements on the bottom that it is dishwasher and microwave safe. Anyway, it just arrived today, in great condition. The seller packed it very well.
