Help w/artist name + what is woven(?) canvas it's painted on?

I saw this painting last week & bought it even though I couldn't find the artist name when I googled it (or thought was it - 'Balora' ?) because I thought it was a nice painting + it was an unusual canvas that it was painted on.
Can anyone tell who the artist is?
Can anyone tell me anything about the canvas it's painted on? (you can see it through the paint behind/beside the signature)
Is this a older canvas?

That doesn't appear to be the work of the same artist. I think this is commercial art. This one looks to be 1960s and, from the stamp, I would think sold in a PX on a U.S. military base in Spain.

Also underlined, but the B, A and R are different.
Not saying it's a different Balero, as I even manage to write different forms of the same letters in one word ...
