Very smart to use a blacklight to show the minimal overpaint. It is lovely!

Yes, I thought so too, very clever to show that online to make potential clients not able to examine the piece in person more comfortable that the paint was indeed original.

Yep, but at least if painting furniture that's not meant to be painted, the paint can be removed and all is well, you can't do that with furniture that was originally painted, once stripped it's gone forever.
And, once it's stripped the value gets dramatically! stripped as well, unless of course, you happen to have a Masterpiece like this architectural cupboard below.
There are no known cupboards with their original paint. :(

Yes, HUGE difference between stripped & paint decorated, that's for sure.
It changes the whole character of the piece & not for the better in my view.

Late to the party, as I have been out of town. As James said, step-back from the mid 19th century. Hard to tell woods from these pics. I am leaning to mostly maple with something else used for the back boards.... chestnut? Adjustable shelves might be something else as well. Not seeing any soft woods in this.

I am sticking to my $300-600 estimate as a fair price although since it's for personal use you could easily pay more & feel good about it.
I would measure at least TWICE! maybe 3 or 4 times to make sure it FITS IN YOUR SPACE!
Even if you don't get this one there are PLENTY more available, there are over 3,000 in the sold category on LiveAuctioneers alone.
GOOD LUCK! and let us know what happened.

I'll definitely be measuring! However, even if it wouldn't fit where I want it to go (kitchen), I have another space that I know for sure would work. I'm hoping I get it...but it's okay if not. Like you said, there's plenty! I'll definitely give an update. I can't remember off the top my head but I'm pretty sure it's about a week away.

    ***UPDATE***
It sold for a little under 400. I decided not to bid because it just wasn't going to fit where I needed it to go...so...still on the hunt!
Thank you for your help @James Conrad
