    I adore pastels. I ate them in Belem, and there are some good local bakeries that make them - as does Lidl!

    Thank you so much everyone! I inherited this from my mother and love it so much! It's great to have all the background info :) I may have to take a trip to Portugal to get my own personalised pottery myself:) thanks again!

    I decided to post this here, instead of in a new seperate post, as it isn't an antique, and it's clear where it was made etc.
    Sad to have read last night that the person who would probably have liked this a lot isn't with us anymore... :(
    Bought this earier this week (together with the tea caddy and the cruet set I posted yesterday/today, and a few more things, of which some will also be posted later today :))

    Very pleased with this find :) The seller did mention in the add that it was large, but i didn't expect it to be this large. I also like the fact that the platter's smaller cousins were painted by 5 different people.
