    Nice cabinet, @Inkspotter
It looks German to my Dutch eyes.;) It has that heavy feel of German furniture, and German furniture often has those hexagonal panels.

I’ll definitely be checking on European designs from this time period, given the immigrant makeup of the area. I’m thinking of asking the lady who gave it to me about the ancestry of her grandmother.

@Ghopper1924 @verybrad @Darkwing Manor I was combing over the cabinet looking for any sort of maker’s marks, and found this on the bottom part of the opening for the drawer. Seems like an odd place to put something like that. It looks like
    MN03 .... 1886
There are some scratches that may or may not be part of the writing. 60B264CE-4740-4D42-BAF9-E7A0CD9A0B34.jpeg 8523348E-F076-4254-A242-9A405D7C9BCF.jpeg

1886! Very cool. It's rare to find even this much information.
So, could it be MN = Minnesota? If so, it's like it was labeled for it's destination and it must have come from...somewhere else. Don't know what the other scratches mean.

Regardless, good going on the detective work!
