Near our house is a portion of the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and old railroad bed that has been paved over and is a bike/walking trail. Where the trail crosses roads there are stop signs, bike riders are supposed to stop, dismount and walk their bikes across after the cars pass. Supposed to!

I was walking my dog on the trail, a mother and daughter rode bikes heading in the opposite direction, the daughter - maybe 10 - out in front. She turned back and said "Do I have to stop Mommy?" The mother said "No, go on through." :wideyed:

I guess the stop signs are just for decoration!

Yeah, and what did the old folks say about y'all when you were young? :playful:

Perfectly respectable. Followed all the rules and never made trouble I'm sure. But I've read things..... :D

I readily admit to being disreputable and disorderly. Never did go in for the drunk part; I've always preferred caffeine to alcohol.
