Anyone here familiar with ironstone? In the past, I had quite a few ironstone pieces, but they were always plates and dinnerware. I've never seen an ironstone vase. The form is reminiscent of Rosewood. I drew out the mark on the bottom because it's unclear in photos. I couldn't find it anywhere. IMG_5160.jpg IMG_5161.jpg IMG_5163.jpg IMG_5164.jpg

Never seen it before but it's a beauty! The pattern of the leaves and berries reminds me of Brush. I'm sorry I don't have any answer for you.

I'm trying to declutter, but when I saw this I had to have it. (rolls eyes)

It's a McCoy #262 from 1941. This Sanford's doesn't say anything about the mark, but it could be the overlapping NM.

I just wanted to add that being white doesn't make it ironstone.

Yeah, I didn't get the ironstone connection either.

But, if you stand on your head McCoy makes a lot of sense.

So this is how you became known as "flipper"?

    Basically...except it's my dog's name, too.

Well, I listed as ironstone because I didn't know what it was and I neglected to come back here to check on an ID. I haven't dealt in this subject for a long time. I listed for $3.99 and it's up to $11.01! Someone will be happy when they get a bargain.
