    I'm thrilled to be finding out ANYTHING more about this spoon!!!!!! It's been hanging in a drawer wrapped up with some others....this was the first I wanted to know about!!!!!

    Thank you Nathan!!! I saw that in Google or Pinterest, but couldn't make it go anywhere either!!! Love the price!!! Wondering if the New Bedford Whaling Museum might have any interest....might just check them out!!! :rolleyes::rolleyes:

    It's a desirable and not particularly common spoon, as with all of Gorham's cast spoons, but it's not even close to "very rare" as that seller suggests - suspect if the Whaling Museum desired one for their collection, one would have been acquired long ago...
