    Very nice specimen shown at the link, a 105 mm howitzer projectile with point-detonating fuze. We have the books showing details like full and empty weights for such things so our first act with a new thing that’s not already open is to weigh it. I had a rare 155mm mustard gas projectile, US, made in 1940, with all correct stencil/paint markings. No clue if full of liquid mustard gas or empty. Weight was exactly 7 lbs. short so I knew it was empty and opened ‘er up. Got good $ when sold; only one like that Id ever seen.
