Featured Medieval Knight's Helmet?

    I was thinking the repo thing at first. I was told by someone that they were made in Mexico in the 1970's. What I can't understand is that if they were made in bulk, why can't I find a single photo of one on the net anywhere. I have searched 1000's of photos and only found 3 with that type of clasps and "flower" decorations. All three were Italian 16th to 18th century helmets.

    And yes it fits on my head and I can see out of it. It flops around a bit, but it was made for a liner and to rest on additional armor plates.

    Boy... what a lot of work for a stage or movie helmet! Too much, I would thinke. I am wondering how, as komokwa noted, does one see out of it? I think that sight would be possible if the faceplate could be lowered just a bit more. That would create a slit for viewing across the top of the faceplate. Regardless, it looks like a well made and desirable helmet to me.
