Absolutely. I must say I have always disliked Southwest bear claw jewellery, even if NA made, because it looked too disrespectful and contrived to me. As if it said: let's throw something 'Native' in. I was offered Navajo made bear claw jewellery to sell btw, even by the makers themselves. I never bought or sold it.

As someone with a Shamanic background, I don't like the idea of wearing bear claws as a political statement, like Fid suggested. I must say, I have never heard of it, the Wounded Knee connected people I used to know wore a feather, either real or in bone or silver. A spiritual symbol, for the spiritual background of the Wounded Knee siege. Or they wore no symbol at all, and carried what they felt connected with in their hearts.

Anyway, bear claws have nothing at all to do with drg's necklace.
