  1. 20220705_205457 copy.jpg 20220705_205557 copy.jpg 20220705_205526 copy.jpg I bought this piece only for 130 euro.

Don't know much about it only that it's engraved at the stop with the number 5.

probably from a night set that they use besides the bed for water.

Does anyone know something about this beautiful piece?

    Welcome Jarco. Are you Dutch?
People who know about opaline glass will be along later. It is beautiful, btw.

  4. Thanks for your repsonse, it can't be 1950's-1960's with all due respect. This was made prob in the 1880 or 1900's. I don't know anything about it, but your response is always helpfull. :D

Hello @Jarco Schoonbeek & welcome to the forum!!:happy:

    How big is this piece?

Is there a coordinating number on the bottom of the decanter?

Probably not a night set as they usually have a coordinating tumbler that also acts as the cover of the decanter.

    Some examples of night sets.

It's embellished transfer, rather than all hand gilded. The numbers are indeed to match stoppers and base. I'd agree it's later.

Sorry. Doesn't look to me like worth 130 Euros to many other people. But if not for resale, who cares!

  11. I know that it sounds crazy but i can say: I have one, and i am searching for a couple of years now. Never find a identical piece. You can not find it.

...that's an asking price though, surely? Anyone can ask anything they want for their items. No one is obliged to pay that price.
Can you find any examples of sold ones like yours?

Decoration aside, which is obviously different, the one in the listing has a different stopper. Your photos don't show the base, does it have a footrim like the one in the listing?

Yes, it is, and it could even be the very same bottle, because both Jarco and R. Antonis are in the Netherlands.:playful:
