Yeah, i saw it on the news as well, a bit insane I'd say.

 

It hit the cover, splattered it probably, of the New York Post too. My supermarket carries it.

The articles say that the banana eater was a "performance artist", hehe. Another artist ate the art.

But not to worry. There's a certificate of authenticity so the buyer can just tape a new banana to the wall. It's all about the COA.

next thing you know, students will try to pay their school tuition with bananas & duct tape....& seniors will be lined up at the Dr's office....holding a bunch of bananas & a roll of duct tape to pay off any outstanding bills !!!!
