I just paid $18 to be educated on opals! Heck of a deal! Thanks y’all!

 

It’s a very good looking stone/triplet. I think this piece in particular would benefit from an hot off the press polish. I could see it bringing quite a good price relative to your investment. There’s opal madness in the streets.

 

Thanks! Good to know.But I will probably end up keeping it. I have not been selling my gold and silver lately. I will sell the costume jewelry and cast iron I bought to recoup my costs for the day. I will keep the small pile of gold and silver. It was a good day to take off from work.

 

With things going the way they are that may be a very smart plan. Of course the bottom could drop out and we could live to regret not taking advantage of all time highs. Even then you’d still have treasure, and having treasure is awesome.
