Yeah, that’s basically the concept. I told my framer I wanted nothing on the actual card, so he devised something from his many years experience at doing this type of preservation work. I was quite impressed.

 

It looks very good. So far as framing goes, it's an interesting problem.

There's a book of short stories in which each story was written based on the message on the back of an old postcard. It's by Robert Olen Butler and the title is Had a Good Time: Stories From American Postcards (publ. 2004 by Grove Press). Each postcard is also reproduced in the book. These are real postcards that the author bought and created stories from them.

Maybe somebody here would like it! I may read it again, now that I've mentioned it. (And I might have recommended it in this forum earlier...)
