Thank you for responding. I’m actually pretty tech savvy but this site is not user friendly & seems “ antiquated” pun not intended but it works lol! It’s so frustrating.

I'm not a bit tech savvy..........

but once the photos are the correct size, it's pretty easy to click the Upload button and find your photos to insert.....choosing Full Image.

I resize them on my laptop by right clicking on the photo and selecting edit. I edit them to 780 x 1040. Then I drag and drop them one at a time into the text box of my inquiry. Click full image and I'm done.

    Hi Stefanie

Welcome. You need to resize your picture's to less than 1mb. You do this on your own time. There is no application on this site to do it for you.

The dimensions of a digital photo are expressed in terms of its pixels, for instance “800 x 600”

Under 1MB is at maximum ”999 X 999” but it can be 800 x 600 or whatever fits.
You change the pixel to less than 999 it doesnt matter how small they are but they must be less than 999 in both width and length.

If you have a picture on, then click on it.

Here is a step by step guide using microsoft photos.

Now the picture/copy you save after resizing will go to your picturees folder and not to your download folder. So you must upload that picture and not the version in downloads.

What do you expect from Antiquers?:joyful:

I never had any problems, even at the beginning, but I know some others did. I guess it depends on how your mind is 'wired', and everyone is different in that respect.

Getting the photos the correct size to post seems to be the biggest issue.

To be fair, if you upload to say Facebook or Twitter, it resizes automatically.

It's still a pain. I resize everything for here.

So do I but it’s easy and quick once you know how isn’t it.
Email them to myself, save and post! My only frustration is when someone says ‘ it’s slightly out of focus’ when it wasn’t before being resized!
I work 99% of the time on an iPad or iPhone so maybe it’s more complicated on a laptop or PC.

I use a Proper Camera and laptop, so it's a resize job.

Did you notice that this site is free and has no advertising? So there is no revenue stream to fund upgrades for user friendliness. I, for one, am so appreciative of having this place to learn and share with other members. I thank @Peter T Davis for starting this site and for financing the cost to keep it going. I also thank the volunteer moderators like @daveydempsey, @Bookahtoo and @i need help for keeping this place a hospitable site. If I missed anyone, I’m sorry.
