    Oh my @ritzyvintage , you probably don’t know but I am the queen of Victorian sash pins. And the one you showed is AMAZING!

    @colonelmustard , the thing I love most is the beautiful way the fabric is rendered. It’s a beauty!

    Pate sur pate, rather than jasperware which is very specifically Wedgwood. And it's a very different technique.

    Pate sur pate is built up, which is why you get that lovely see through effect. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pâte-sur-pâte

    Jasperware, which was developed and patented way earlier, was moulded pieces which were then attached to an unglazed base.

    As an aside, the "jasperwares" made by Dudson, Adams et al are generally called sprigged wares.

    I'd agree probably Schafer und Vater, the body ground colour is typical.
