    My apologies, I had also forgot to mention, because of the locket style, an insert picture of Jesus Christ, or The Blessed Virgin Mother may have also been placed inside. It could also possibly be attached to a waist habit rosary for a Nun, or Priest, if it were previously owned by either. But, it is more common to see a religious medal attached to a habit rosary. These could also have been a small travel shrine/locket for a parishioner, because it doesn’t have the appearance of a communion host locket, used when receiving the body of Christ. ❤️Maven
