Craigslist, FB marketpl and OfferUP for furniture. I find a lot of it there as well.

I like that it was designed with the intent of the flat side being next to a wall.

I've been trying to sell a Russell Woodard set on Craigslist, which I priced very competitively, without much luck. Might be best to wait until Spring to try and move this.

I agree about waiting until Spring. This is likely to be purchased by a woman (IMHO). A woman will want the set to be colorful (IMHO). You mentioned something about stripping/powder coating which is best to keep rust at bay, but can't really be spray painted. That's probably why the set if so globby looking now. So maybe if you just sand back some of the really bad globs of dried paint and sell as is, someone would want that lived in look for a garden set. This color is also good for an outdoor pop of color.

This plant holder was originally powder coated and the person who previously owned it had coated it with yogurt vinegar and some other stuff, left it in the sun to get it to look antique. It turned out kind of old whitish color but really globby looking. I sanded it down and sprayed it this color. I think most people want these small items to stand out in white or a bright color. The grays of powder coating just scream to be painted (again IMHO). And the plant grew up and would around the top of the chair.

With very few exceptions, the only way to make fixing furniture justifiable is to do it yourself (and of course pay yourself nothing for the repair)!
