I recently purchased this oil lamp and trying to figure out a time frame it was made. The only markings is the Eagle on the burner and it stated PA Risdon MFG co danbury, ct. Made in USA. It has several air bubbles in the glass (not sure that makes a difference). I am new to this so really do not know much about oil lamps.

Some where around 1900 give or take a few years.
The Eagle burner doesn't mean anything as they are easily replaced.

@Brazos @Iowa Jayhawk may be able to give more information.
Be sure to check back people come and go at all hours.

    Welcome to the board.

This won't help much but I did look through Thuro's book Oil Lamps The Kerosene Era in North America. I didn't find an example of the glass portion of your lamp. The only information that I think might apply to your lamp has to do with the collar portion. I think this is the type of collar that looks like yours but I might not be correct. It might give you a direction to look though.

Thank you. I have had a few people tell me that is the collar that is on my lamp.

How did they attach them if they didn´t use plaster? Did they press them on while the glass was still hot?
