    beautiful, shes so underated

    one of my all time faves is patience of angels

    i was watching a singer songwriter circle, and didnt realise it was written by a guy called boo hew hewerdine

    Beautiful. I love Eddi Reader's expressive voice, but the way Boo Hewerdine sings it has more impact.

    HI CC, I love it. The blue is so inviting and alive. I even like the shade, which kind of works. Lovely find and for 10 quid, you have eagle eyes!

    would like to see it working, but dont think its ever been used

    while having eagle eyes, ive also got careless hands

    and would probably burn the house down !!

    Milk glass, it ain't, indeed. I suspect a North Eastern maker, although you'd need to tie up the RD diamond to be sure. The shade was sold in BHS in the 70s. ;)

    I had the same problem: I've a nice old white opaque glass oil lamp, converted to electricity at some point. It has a decent enough shade, but it's not the original.
