So your fifty-cent tumbler went for $100, but it was a freakishly high return,a 'one off' so to speak ? You find they normally go for much less.

Just selling on consignment at my former brick and mortar location. I know I could get more on ebay but don't want to pack and ship glassware. Most of what I am selling is Mikasa, Orrefors, Libbey, and the like. Sell most at under $5.00 per glass with some as low as $2.00. When it gets much over that, it tends to sit. Antique glassware really doesn't sell as well as modern. People just want it to use and cheap is the name of the game.

Ditto-I usually walk by it-packing nightmare begging to get broken in transit & get neg FB from a Buyer !
Glass drink ware needs much scrutiny (if you want profit).
PS- Mikasa, Orrefors, Libbey, Waterford & R. Lauren is almost non-existent out here for under a buck.

In the Ancient Times, Libbey was the cheap stuff. Now it's the good stuff. That said, if you can't put it in the dishwasher no one wants it.
